Touchstone is a unique supportive housing program with integrated Partial Hospitalization (PHP) treatment. Our programs are for all women who have been diagnosed with a substance use disorder, and all are designed around the principles of safety, choice, collaboration, trustworthiness, and empowerment. Here, we meet our patients where they are, creating basic structure and support for their success. Participants work with staff to design an individualized plan to address sobriety, behavioral health, and personal goals.
Patients at Touchstone live on-site during their treatment, participating in individual and group counselling, Medically Assisted Treatment (as prescribed), and learning skills that will help then transition into a healthy life in recovery. While in treatment, women can be accompanied by two children up to age five, making this program truly unique in Summit County. Touchstone provides daycare, laundry facilities, and all meals for women and children.
Touchstone is a progress-based program that lasts up to 90 days (longer as available) with integrated 12-step meetings, peer counseling, and psychiatric services. Some additional support groups are offered through partner agencies. Patients are encouraged to build community support, continue with 12-step and self-help group support, and continue outpatient treatment.
All participants in Touchstone start by completing intake at our 725 building. From there, you will be placed in a program appropriate for you, whether it is outpatient or partial hospitalization. Your care team will work with you on that process.
It’s safe to focus on yourself and your recovery at Touchstone. It will take a little time to get used to the structure, but as you work your program, it will all become part of a healthier lifestyle. You’ll take graduated steps that will prepare you to navigate the world without substance abuse. Clients often tell us that their turning point was when they learned to trust the process.
Intensive Outpatient (IOP)

Participants will give and receive support, be encouraged, learn coping skills, process thoughts and feelings, and have a little fun! In addition to IOP group, attendees must participate in weekly counseling and recovery support meetings.
Reboot Group
Reboot helps people build motivation for achieving treatment goals. The name “Reboot,” represents a fresh start or reset on life. Participants engage in conversation and activities that strengthen their personal values, goals, and life aspirations. Reboot group members make a commitment to attend seven consecutive group sessions and provide weekly urine drug screening, with at least one negative UDS at time of graduation.
