CHC is a non-profit organization providing comprehensive services to prevent and treat substance use disorders, associated behavioral health issues, and provide sober and low-income housing.

Unfortunately, to the high volume of calls, recruitment staff are not able to talk with candidates following up on applications/resumes on an individual basis. No. Applications are reviewed to ensure they meet basic job criteria (education, licensure etc.) and then forwarding to the Hiring Manage. The Hiring Manager will then review further and determine if an interview is warranted.

Not at all! A pen and paper may come in handy if you would like to take notes, or write down any questions you may have beforehand so you don’t forget!

Candidates for hire are evaluated on a case-by-case basis. Candidates with felony convictions are prohibited from working in certain facilities due to contract restrictions. Candidates with multiple misdemeanor convictions are also prohibited from working in certain facilities due to contract restrictions. The Agency considers the type(s) of convictions a candidate has, how long ago the conviction(s) occurred, positive past work history, and the candidate’s suitability for the position for which he/she has interviewed.

The Hiring Manager will review all applicants and make a decision based on suitability to the position and overall fit. If you are selected for the next steps, you will be contacted by HR to start pre-employment which consists of: fingerprint background, employment verification, personal references and a urine drug test.
